COCOA AND ALMONDS SORBET (VEGAN AND LACTOSE FREE DESSERT)

VEGAN AND LACTOSE FREE DESSERT

During the last years, the number of persons who are lactose intolerant is growing. Also there are many vegetarian people for many different reasons.

Therefore i did it this recipe, that is perfect for dessert or during many other moments during your day or free time. You can drink cold or warm, just how you prefer. Me personally, i prefer cold now that the summer is coming soon.



RECIPIE:

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 cups almond milk (or other kind of milk such us: cashew, rice, soya...)
- 3 tbsp sweetener of choice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 1 packet agar agar or granulated kanten
- 2 tsp hot water
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder ( me personally, i use cocoa beens and triturated with blender)

1. Mix the almond milk, sweetener, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt in a pot over medium heat stirring frequently.

2. Mix the agar agar with 2 tbsp of hot water to dissolve.

3. Pour the agar agar or kanten mixture in to the mix that we did it ( point 1) and stir it for 5 min.

4. Pour in different bowls, nice glasses or cups.

5. Refrigerate for 3 hours ( or till is really cold, if you prefer drink it cold before serving).










I did it the presentation with some black chocolate pearls, and you can see how elegant looks also for to have some guest, or girls day in the terrace, or in your garden.










Here it is decorated with a straw that can also be funny for children, and at the same time is healthy, it has properties that help the growth and also help for some digestives sicknesses.
The benefits of the cacao are good because it contains vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
